Footprints on the Moon

We have recently began a study entitled FOOTPRINTS ON THE MOON in keeping with the celebration this past July of 40 years since the first man walked on the moon. We are studying how men train for a trip to the moon, how they live and eat, how they get to the moon and the moon itself. Friday, October 9th, NASA observed rockets hitting the moon in order to study just what else might be found on the moon like water that would useful to man.

E-mails were sent home describing the projects students are working on. Second grade will be presenting experiments to show to the class and grades three - six will be information in visual, written and oral form concerning the moon.
