DISCOVERY/GIFTED CLASSES

Tattnall Square Academy

2010-2011 School Year

We are looking forward to an exciting year of enriching and challenging experiences. Our theme for this year is “Discovery on the Move! – The Year of the M’s.”

Classes will begin Monday, August 30^th. Class periods are as follows:

Monday Grade 6 9:40 –11:00 Grade 3 Mrs. Miller 1:00-2:30

Tuesday Grade 4 10:00 -11:30 Grade 5 12:35 – 1:55

Thursday Grade 2 10:00 -11:00 Grade 3 Mrs. Hardy 12:50 –2:10

Each student should have a thin 3 ring binder, loose-leaf paper, pencils and a pencil holder that fits into his/her notebook. Those students enrolled last year should check on the first day of DISCOVERY to see what is left from last year and what they need to buy.

There is a $25 activity fee to cover materials, supplies, TIME for KIDS magazine for each student. What is left will be applied to any field trip we might take. This fee should be turned into the office to Mrs. Tara Johnson by September 15th.

Letters to students enrolled in DISCOVERY will be coming home in Friday or Monday signed paper folders. Please return the letters to the mailbox outside the DISCOVERY door or send it with your student on the day of class. Thank you.
