This week began with some wonderful presentations about our US Military. Jacob created a model of a battlefield. Savannah not only created a battlefield, she shared a picture of her great grandfather who fought and died for freedom in WWII. Scott brought in his "pop's" authentic Vietnam jacket and William modeled genuine Air Force medals on his jacket. Third Grade holds up their displays to be photographed. Hikoki informed well about the US Coast Guard. Julia built an example of an Air Force base and explained it to her class. Christian shared a purple heart from a family friend who received it in WWII. Brianna spoke from her own experience about being a child of a deployed family member. Carson modeled her granddaddy's military jacket as she taught us about military uniforms.
